Practice: 1 day/week

This introductory program is perfect for our youngest wrestlers. Athletes will be introduced to the sport in a fun, supportive environment while learning basic foundational wrestling techniques. Practices also emphasize body awareness, speed, and agility to help build athletic skills that transfer across sports.

WHEN:

INCLUDED:

Wrestlers receive a club t-shirt to wear at practice and competitions.

COMPETITION:

Wayzata Wrestling Club covers the registration fee for a select number of tournaments throughout the year. Those tournaments will be communicated after the start of the season.

REQUIRED:

Wrestlers must wear wrestling shoes, athletic shorts/pants, and a t-shirt during practice.

Wayzata Wrestling requires every wrestler to be licensed by USA Wrestling for all programs.

Please Renew or Purchase a USA Wrestling Card for the 2025-26 season for your wrestler and enter their USAW ID Number on registration form.
